Panther is very subtle:) Beryl will sit which usually works. If I'm a bit slow to give her a taste of whatever I'm eating then she will paw at my leg. Frankie isn't that interested in what I eat unless it's meat, which doesn't happen very often! And he will help himself off the benchtops if I don't put everything to the back! Just as well he's smaller than a Greyhound or I'd have to put everything away. Beryl is a Princess and they don't countersurf!!!
I love Panther's tactics! Blueberry will go through her whole repertoire of tricks if you have something she really wants. She'll sit, down, take a bow and then snort in indignity when all else fails.

omo sits for it. i never trained him to sit, but he's learned that when he sits, i hug him and offer him whatever i have.
Omo must like hugs!!! Maggie never sits. I'm not sure if she knows how.
