Dinner Time

Happy Saturday!!!

I think my greyhounds are spoiled.  They now eat dinner from their beds in the kitchen.  Panther started this and now Maggie wants her dinner served in bed.  When it is time for dinner, everyone politely lays down and waits to be served.

It's my own fault for having beds in the kitchen.  The greys like to be near family and we spend most of our time in the kitchen.

What is dinner time like at your house?  Is it busy and loud or calm and quiet?  Let me know.

Hello there, we've come to visit from the Pet Blog Hop!

Feeding time for my dogs is very hectic: the only rule I have is that they can't be in the kitchen when I'm preparing food (either theirs or my own), to stop my puppy from jumping at me constantly, and so they usually spend their waiting time playing biteyface and trying to get as far into the kitchen as possible without me noticing.

Feeding time for your greyhounds looks a lot more relaxed!

OMD, that is too funny! I loved their leisure dinner time. And I bet they do too!

Well, with four dogs, it tends to be over pretty quickly. Bunny and Blueberry will carry mouthfuls of food to their beds and eat it there sometimes, then go back for more.

Our feeding time is very civilised. Frankie choses to eat his tea in Beryl's crate, which is in the lounge room. When he knows I'm getting their tea ready he goes and waits in there. Beryl is usually lying on their double foam mattress in the lounge room and she eats her tea on a very elegant upturned beer crate, lol. None of this was trained, I'm just lucky:)

Looks like you are too!

we eat in a very small kitchen (renos coming up) and the greys just lie down. they have their dinner in separate rooms because fabian nibbles his and then goes for omo's. omo is of the scrawny persuasion and loses weight just thinking about life. he can't afford to lose a kibble. fabian, like me, keeps the pounds on no matter what.
